Premium monthly CFO engagement

Fractional CFO for wedding and event venues

The monthly CFO engagement is the core premium Venue CFO offer. It is not SaaS, not a dashboard-only engagement, and not generic advisory.

We use Tripleseat or booking data, accounting actuals, POS, payroll, and payment data to run forecasts, profitability analysis, and monthly decisions with owners and operators.

Finance work session for an event venue.

What the monthly CFO engagement owns

The work is designed to make venue finance practical every month: close, forecast, decide, assign owners, and track the actions.

  • Monthly CFO pack
  • Forecasted cash flow and 12-month outlook
  • Event profitability and revenue per event
  • Package and pricing analysis
  • Booking pace and lead-time review
  • Monthly decision memo
  • Action tracker

Who it is for

A strong fit when

  • Your venue needs monthly decisions, not occasional reporting.
  • Event mix, packages, F&B, bar, payroll, or vendor costs create margin complexity.
  • Cash flow changes with seasonality, payment timing, deposits, payroll, and vendor spend.
  • You need owner-level financial direction without hiring a full-time CFO.

Best after the data can support it

The engagement depends on reliable monthly accounting data and useful operating exports. If the data model is not ready, the Venue Finance Sprint can build the first version before the monthly cadence begins.

What makes it venue-specific

Venue finance is shaped by booked events, timing, mix, capacity, deposits, staff planning, and direct event costs. The model has to reflect those realities.

Revenue per event and revenue by event type show whether sales quality is improving.
Event-type profitability and variable cost per event show where margins are drifting.
Booking pace, lead-time profiles, and seasonality help forecast cash flow before decisions are urgent.

How Tripleseat and accounting data feed the work

Booking and operating data

Tripleseat or another booking system provides event type, event date, booked value, package, guest count, payment timing, booking pace, and lead-time detail. POS, payroll, and payment data add cost and timing context where relevant.

Accounting actuals

Accounting actuals close the loop on revenue treatment, event-cost categories, payroll, vendor spend, payment activity, and cash movement. The CFO model ties actuals to bookings so the forecast stays useful.

Service boundary

We do not offer standalone bookkeeping, AP, payroll, or tax filing. As part of the engagement, we may clean up account mapping, reclassify transactions, standardize event-cost categories, and make accounting data model-ready.

Fractional CFO FAQ

Is this a dashboard subscription?

No. Dashboards can support the work, but the engagement is built around monthly CFO decisions, forecasts, memos, owners, and action tracking.

Can this start without a sprint?

Sometimes. If accounting data is clean, exports are reliable, and monthly close standards are already in place, the monthly CFO engagement can start directly.

Do you work only with QuickBooks?

No. QuickBooks is strongly supported, but the model can work with other accounting systems when data is clean, exportable, and closed consistently.
